Featuring a 0.72-inch conductor opening and a 200:0.1 current ratio, this transformer supports current measurement when properly integrated with a matching electrical meter. Current transformers allow compatible metering equipment to monitor electrical current through a designated conductor without carrying the full primary current through the metering device. Available in Black and Red configurations, each CT has a unique HyPower part number to help identify the specified replacement for the existing metering assembly. Although both configurations share the same listed ratio and opening size, Black and Red components should not be assumed interchangeable without confirming their electrical and installation specifications. Verify the original metering system requirements, including any CT accuracy class, burden, and wiring specifications. Installation and replacement should be performed by a licensed or qualified electrician following manufacturer instructions and applicable electrical codes.
