Is this compatible with all HydroPort docks?
No, this mooring link is specifically designed for the HydroPort HP2, HP2XL, and HP Pro models. The HP Extreme and HP Epic use different hardware.
What tools are needed to install this mooring link?
To install the HP2 Universal Mooring Link, you will need a drill with a 3/8” drill bit to make holes in the dock face for mounting brackets (if required), wrenches or socket sets to tighten the stainless steel connecting bolts, and 1/2” carriage bolts used to secure the mooring link and brackets.
Is this mooring link compatible with docks made of wood, aluminum, or concrete?
Yes, this link is part of a system that can be mounted to docks made from wood, aluminum, or concrete. The compatibility is determined by the anchor bolts you choose, such as lag bolts for wood or concrete anchors for concrete docks.
